Growing Together with Christ in the Likeness of His Death and Resurrection

“We have been buried therefore with Him through baptism into His death, in order that just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, so also we might walk in newness of life. For if we have grown together with Him in the likeness of His death, indeed we will also be in the likeness of His resurrection” (Rom. 6:4-5)

The Christian life is a life of baptism. On the one hand, baptism has been accomplished; on the other hand, baptism continues until we are fully transformed and conformed to the image of Christ. This means that we are daily under the application of the death of Christ as we experience the effectiveness of His death, which is now one of the ingredients, the elements, in the all-inclusive Spirit.

In baptism we were not only buried into death, but we also began to grow. According to Godet, the word grown denotes “the organic union in virtue of which one being shares the life, growth, and phases of existence belonging to another.” We have been grafted into the “tree” of Christ, the Son of God, as the embodiment of the processed Triune God. Having become one with Him through grafting, we now partake of the life and characteristics of Him as the all-inclusive One, and in this way we grow in Him.

In the organic union with Christ, whatever Christ passed through has become our history…Such a grafting discharges all our negative elements, resurrects our God-created faculties, uplifts our faculties, enriches our faculties, and saturates our entire being to transform us. (The Conclusion of the New Testament, pp. 3051, 3054-3056)

Experiencing, Enjoying, and Expressing Christ

“For it is contained in Scripture: ‘Behold, I lay in Zion a cornerstone, chosen and precious; and he who believes on Him shall by no means be put to shame.' To you therefore who believe is the preciousness…” (1 Pet. 2:6-7)

“And he said to me, Daniel, man of preciousness, understand the words that I am about to tell you…” (Dan. 10:11)

“But the hidden man of the heart in the incorruptible adornment of a meek and quiet spirit, which is very costly in the sight of God.” (1 Pet. 3:4)

We must redeem the time to enjoy Christ as the supreme preciousness of God so that we can be constituted with Him to be men of preciousness as His personal treasure; as we live in His precious presence, enjoying Him as our portion, even as He enjoys us as His treasure, He builds Himself into us to make us His spiritual house and His holy and royal priesthood for the accomplishment of His heart's desire. (June 2025 Semiannual Training, Key Statement 3)

Please continue to pray for the Lord's operation in the saints and the saints' cooperation based on His speaking in the recent semiannual training. Pray for the trainings that are still being carried out through webcast in various places around the world, that all the saints would enter into the riches and the burden of this speaking for the whole Body of Christ to arrive at the Lord's goal.

May we all give the Lord access to our inner being and allow Him to make His home in our hearts. May we all redeem the time to advance in our experience and enjoyment of Christ for the expression of Christ for the fulfillment of God's economy!

North America Chinese-speaking Saints Perfecting Training

This summer's perfecting training for Chinese-speaking saints in North America will take place in two parts—July 23 to 27 in Camp Penuel, New York and July 30 to August 3 in Cerritos. The general subject is “Go and Bear Remaining Fruit.” Please pray for the Lord to:

  • Strengthen, protect, and prepare the saints who have registered for this training.
  • Cover all the practical needs of the training so that the burden of the training can be fully released.
  • Encourage and perfect the seeking Chinese-speaking saints in the churches in truth, life, and service.

European Young People's Conference and Family Camp

The annual European YP conference and family camp will take place on July 27 to August 2 in Małe Ciche, Poland. The burden of the YP conference is to constitute the young people in Europe with the truth in the Bible so that they are encouraged to love the Lord and the Word of God, to pursue Him with one another, and to be built up together in His Body that they may become pillars for the Lord's move in Europe and for His coming back. The burden of the family camp is to raise up families from across Europe for the church life. Please pray:

  • That the Lord will once again speak a clear and definite word to each young person that will touch each heart and call each one for the advancement of His move in Europe.
  • That there will be a cleansed and sanctified environment for the Lord to freely move among our young generation to gain a group of consecrated young people in Europe for His testimony and expression.
  • For much blending, mutual encouragement, and strong morale among the young people and families.
  • For the covering and protection of the saints in their travels and throughout the entire week of the conference, and for the health and safety of all in attendance.

Meeting Hall in Riga, Latvia

Riga is the capital of Latvia, one of the three Baltic countries in Northeastern Europe, along with Estonia to the north and Lithuania to the south. Riga plays a vital role in connecting these countries and serves as a key bridge between the Russian-speaking work and the broader work in Europe. The country has a population of 1.9 million.

Previously, we have reported that through the fellowship in the Body, the church in Riga acquired a four-story building and has been carrying out extensive renovation work. However, due to changes in construction plans the rising cost of materials, as well as the building's status as a recognized historical site, the renovation costs are expected to increase by approximately 200,000 Euros. Please pray:

  • For greater involvement of the brothers in fellowship and coordination on matters related to this project.
  • For timely approval and authorization of all permits and plans, so that there are no delays in the work.
  • For everyone laboring on the project, for the supply of the saints, and for the safety of all the workers.
  • For sufficient financial supply.

A five-minute video report has been posted at lme.org/reports.html. As the Lord leads, saints in LA may participate in giving through the Church in Los Angeles designated for “Riga Meeting Hall.”

Pakistan

There are currently four lampstands and over 325 saints in Pakistan, a predominantly Muslim country with the world's fifth-largest population (over 241 million). Since November 2024, the saints have begun distributing Rhema books on university campuses to contact students and find the seeking ones.

Please pray that the Lord would open the door of the gospel on the campuses and in the community, so that the saints may reach university students and gain many open and seeking ones for Him.

Tribulation, Endurance, Approvedness, and Hope

“And not only so, but we also boast in our tribulations, knowing that tribulation produces endurance; and endurance, approvedness; and approvedness, hope.” (Rom. 5:3-4)

Tribulation is actually the incarnation of grace and the sweet visitation of grace; to reject tribulation is to reject grace, which is God as our portion for our enjoyment; grace mainly visits us in the form of tribulation by which God causes all things (all persons, all matters, all situations, all circumstances, and all environments) to work together for good, which is our gaining more of Christ to have Him wrought into our being, so that we may be transformed metabolically and conformed to Christ's image and so that we may be brought into the full sonship.

Tribulation issues in endurance, and endurance produces approvedness, which is tested character and approved worth (Phil. 2:19-22)…Along with approvedness, we have hope (Rom. 5:4), and we boast because of the hope of the glory of God (v. 2). The God of all grace has called us into His eternal glory in Christ Jesus; here and now we are enjoying Christ, who dwells in our spirit, as our hope of glory.

As we enjoy Christ in our sufferings, we are being saved in His life for accomplishing the organic goal of God's dynamic salvation, which is the producing and building up of the organic Body of Christ expressed in the local churches, where we enjoy the rich grace of the Lord and where the God of peace crushes Satan under our feet for His glorious expression and for the display of His victory. (Chapters 5 through 8 of Romans—the Kernel of the Bible, msg. 2, III.A, B, C, 2, D)

Experiencing, Enjoying, and Expressing Christ

“Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus, who…emptied Himself, taking the form of a slave…; and being found in fashion as a man, He humbled Himself, becoming obedient even unto death, and that the death of a cross.” (Phil. 2:5-8)

In order to experience Christ and live Christ, we must know Him as our pattern and take Him as our pattern, take Christ's mind as our mind, and know the Son's submission. (Key Statement 2)

Please pray that the speaking from the recent semiannual training would penetrate the entire recovery in an unprecedented way to match the Lord's present burden. Pray for the saints in all the churches to take Christ as their pattern in a subjective and experiential way. Pray that the One who not only set up the pattern but who Himself is the pattern would operate within all the saints as the indwelling God.

2025 Southwest Summer College Training

Dear saints, thank you for your prayer! Around 39 college students from different schools in LA participated last week in our region's summer college training at Oak Glen. This five-day training had the subject of “The Humanity of Jesus” with a focus on Christ as revealed through the type of the meal offering in Leviticus. Students were impressed with their need to have a proper humanity in order to express God for His purpose. Daily we have to eat and enjoy Christ as the “fine flour mingled with oil” to be constituted with His humanity for a proper Christian and church life.

There were also two supplemental lines on personal fellowship with the Lord and preaching the gospel. The morning line on personal fellowship helped the students know how to exercise their spirit to touch the Lord affectionately through pray-reading, calling, and confessing. After these brief messages, students were given the opportunity to practice spending personal time with the Lord. The line on gospel preaching was mainly carried out in smaller groups where the students were able to fellowship on the burden of praying for and contacting their friends. Additionally, throughout the week, there were group study times, verse memorization, and testing, as well as special fellowships on mental health, the Lord's recovery, and the Full-time Training in Anaheim.

As follow-up, please pray for the students' immediate practice of all that they touched during this training, in particular:

  • For the students to eat and enjoy the Lord daily as the meal offering through reading and praying over the word of God.
  • For them to be constituted with the humanity of Jesus to stand against the current of today's age and to be a testimony to their friends, family, and classmates.
  • For them to have companions with whom they can enjoy the word and pray for those they are burdened for.

Nordic-Baltic Conference

This weekend, July 18 to 20, a conference for the saints in the Nordic and Baltic countries will be hosted by the church in Oslo, Norway. This conference is a highlight for the saints in Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Finland, and Iceland, as well as for those in Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania. This summer's conference subject is “Our Faith Being Perfected.” Please pray for the Lord's fresh speaking and for the gathering and blending of the saints into the reality of the Body.

The Lord has been preparing and gaining a new generation of younger saints in this region—both church kids and gospel contacts. Recently, over a dozen students and young work saints attended the semiannual training in Anaheim, preceded by blending visits with several localities in Southern California, including Los Angeles. Some of these young saints are the only ones in their age group in their localities, so the blending has been encouraging. Pray for these ones and others to go on from strength to strength. After this weekend's conference, there will be a larger blending trip for students from the Nordic and Baltic countries—this time with 32 saints, two-thirds of whom are students. Lord, fully gain this new generation for the preparation of the bride for Your return!

Germany – Gospel Trips

Saints are invited to participate in gospel trips in German-speaking countries from October 5 to 19 for the purpose of contacting university students. A link to more information, including instructions on how to register for these trips, can be found at tinyurl.com/Gospeltrips-2025.

Please pray that the Lord will gain many young Germans, Swiss, and Austrians as remaining fruit and for the spread of the Lord's testimony in all these cities through these gospel trips.

A special fellowship was held at the recent semiannual training about the Lord's up-to-date move in Europe as a whole and specifically in Italy and in French- and German-speaking Europe. A video of that fellowship is available at lordsmove.org/reports.html.

Nepal

Pray for the campus work, that more students who are open and willing to read the Bible would be gained, and that 10 stable home meetings would be established in July.

Taking the Way of Enjoying Christ as the Tree of Life

“And out of the ground Jehovah God caused to grow every tree that is pleasant to the sight and good for food, as well as the tree of life in the middle of the garden and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.” (Gen. 2:9)

“For the mind set on the flesh is death, but the mind set on the spirit is life and peace.” (Rom. 8:6)

If we want to take the way of enjoying God, we must have a change of concept…If we want to enter into the reality of the enjoyment of God, we must see a controlling vision…It was not until I was forty years of age that the Lord revealed to me the way of enjoying Him. I was disappointed that for twenty years most of my time and energy had been wasted. Most of my prayers were of no value, and the time that I had spent reading the Bible and other spiritual books was also of no value. This is when I realized that our way of working was wrong and that our way of spiritual pursuit was also wrong.

Because I suffered a great loss from taking the wrong way, I do not want others to repeat the same mistake. I hope that others can take the way of enjoying God. I implore the saints to no longer take the wrong way. We should consider our former way of pursuit. We must have a drastic change of concept. We need to have a controlling vision. (CWWL, 1958, vol. 1, “The Vision of the Tree of Life and the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil,” ch. 5, p. 617)

Pray that the saints would have a drastic change in concept and a controlling vision: to take the way of enjoying God by eating Christ as the tree of life.

Experiencing, Enjoying, and Expressing Christ

“Let your forbearance be known to all men. The Lord is near. In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God.” (Phil. 4:5-6)

We need to learn Christ as the secret of being transformed, that is, of being metabolically changed in our natural life, in any kind of environment, situation, or circumstance; this practical and simple secret is to practice speaking with the Lord constantly; then spontaneously, we will live Christ. (Key Statement 1)

Please pray that the Lord's fresh speaking during last week's training would penetrate the entire recovery in an unprecedented way to match the Lord's present burden. Pray for all the saints to spend the time praying over the word and conversing with the Lord to advance in their living and expressing of Him.

College Trainings

During the month of July, five regional college trainings will take place throughout the United States. We will be covering the critical topic of “The Humanity of Jesus.” The Southwest College Training will begins this Wednesday, July 9 at Oak Glen. We are expecting more than 350 saints to participate this year, including more than 35 students from LA—a substantial number. Please pray for:

  • For the Lord to prepare the hearts of the students so that they will be soft and open toward the Lord, able to receive His speaking and shining.
  • For the students to see and partake of the humanity of Jesus to be the testimony of Jesus in the midst of a crooked generation.
  • For the enemy to be bound with all his frustrations and struggles against this training so that the atmosphere will be clear, enabling the Lord to have His way.

2026 Winter Olympics in Italy

The 2026 Winter Olympic Games will be held in Italy from February 6 to 22. The Torch Relay will begin on December 6, 2025. A letter of fellowship and a letter with instructions on how to apply and participate in gospel trips are now posted at lordsmove.org/reports.html. Please pray:

  • That the Lord will be wisdom to His Body on how to take advantage of this opportunity to sow Christ as the seed of the kingdom into many who attend this event.
  • That the Lord will use the upcoming months to prepare the hearts of many seeking people to receive Christ in His word and be added to the Lord's testimony in Italy and other parts of Europe.
  • For the Lord to grace the serving saints to prepare the most effective ministry publications for distribution to the seeking ones.

UK Building Project

A video and written updates on the construction of a new FTTL training center are available at amanatrust.org.uk/page/reports. We are thankful to the Lord that adequate funds were received to begin the first phase of construction on the new building, which began during the spring with the demolition of the former classrooms. We are now progressing with the concrete retaining walls, the underground utilities, and preparation for the basement foundations to complete the first phase.

Please continue to pray that the Lord will provide the necessary funds and serving ones to carry out the construction to complete this project for the going on of the training. May the Lord gain this facility for the young people in Europe to be trained for His move on the earth.

To give through the Church in Los Angeles for the new training center, please follow instructions at www.churchinlosangeles.org/members/offerings. Designate offerings for “UK Building Project.”

Azerbaijan

Azerbaijan is a predominantly Muslim country at the crossroads of Eastern Europe and Central Asia. Some saints meet regularly in the capital city, Baku, serving and coordinating in one accord, and taking every opportunity to shepherd gospel contacts. Despite many outward restrictions, the saints continue to look to the Lord for His blessing and to establish His testimony in Azerbaijan.

Please pray for the baptism of six gospel friends, that the Lord would break through their religious concepts, and that through the home meetings the transmission of faith would reach their spirit and bring them into the kingdom of the Son of His love. Also pray that the saints would have their hearts, spirits, and time released to participate in a 15-minute Life-study pursuit in the local language every evening.

The Highest Work and the Highest Expression

Praise is the highest work carried out by God's children. We can say that the highest expression of a saint's spiritual life is his praise to God. God's throne is the highest point in the universe, yet He sits “enthroned upon the praises of Israel” (Psa. 22:3). God's name and even God Himself are exalted through praise. (CWWN, vol. 48, “Messages for Building Up New Believers (1),” lesson 16, p. 247)

2025 June Semiannual Training

The Semiannual Training is taking place this week, June 30 to July 6, in Anaheim and by webcast in Los Angeles and around the world. The subject is “Experiencing, Enjoying, and Expressing Christ (3).”

Pray for the release of the Lord's word to meet His present need for the building up of His Body and the preparation of His Bride. May our vessel be open and empty to receive and digest His up-to-date speaking. Pray that through this training the Triune God will operate more in us to accomplish His will, fulfill His purpose, and satisfy the desire of His heart.

FTTA and FTTA-MA

Last weekend, trainees graduated from the FTTA, FTTA-XB, and FTTA-MA. Please continue to pray for all these ones to follow the Lamb wherever He may go. Pray also for many college graduates and young working saints to answer God's call to go to the FTTA next term. A video of the graduation meeting is available for a limited time at ftta.org.

The Fall 2025 term of the Middle-age Full-time Training in Anaheim goes from September 8 to December 20. The classes are given in English, Chinese, Korean and Spanish. It is hoped that many saints in the Lord's recovery, especially those between the ages of 35 and 65, will seize this opportunity to be perfected. All FTTA-MA applications must be received by August 19.

United States

Pray for the Lord's mercy on the people of this country, that they would be open to the gospel and the truths concerning God's economy so that more could be rescued from the present evil age and participate in God's building of the church as their practical salvation before the Lord's return.

France

We continue to be burdened for the raising up of at least 3 new lampstands in 2025, particularly in Lille, Nanterre (Paris region), and Toulouse.

Please continue to pray also that the Lord would increase the team of full-time serving ones in Paris to take care of the Lord's needs throughout French-speaking Europe. Please pray for the release of all the necessary long stay visas for these saints.

2026 Winter Olympics in Italy

Next year, the 2026 Winter Olympic Games will be held in Milan and Cortina d'Ampezzo, Italy, from February 6 to 22. The Torch Relay throughout Italy will begin on December 6, 2025.

Middle East

Please continue to pray for the situation in Israel and the Middle East, that through the prayers of the saints the evil rulers and authorities in the air, and the human agents used by them, will be bound, and God's interests will be furthered and His chosen ones preserved.

Pray that God will use the situation to cause the gospel of the kingdom to be proclaimed, and that many people, regardless of ethnicity, religion or background, will be unveiled to see Christ as the Savior and the only way to God.

Fighting the Spiritual Warfare in the Body by Prayer

“Put on the whole armor of God that you may be able to stand against the stratagems of the devil.” (Eph. 6:10)

“And receive…the sword of the Spirit, which Spirit is the word of God, by means of all prayer and petition, praying at every time in spirit and watching unto this in all perseverance and petition concerning all the saints.” (Eph. 6:17-18)

The whole armor of God is for the entire Body of Christ as the corporate warrior, not for any individual member of the Body. We must fight the spiritual warfare in the Body, not as individuals.

Among the six items of God's armor, the sword of the Spirit is the only one for attacking the enemy; with the sword we cut the enemy to pieces. Christ as the Spirit and the word furnishes us with a sword as an offensive weapon to defeat and slay the enemy. When the logos (the constant word in the Bible) becomes the rhema (the present, instant, living speaking of the Spirit) to us, this rhema is the sword that cuts the enemy to pieces.

Prayer may be considered the seventh item of the armor of God, because it is the means by which we apply the other items. Prayer is the unique way to apply Christ as the armor of God. It is prayer that makes the armor available to us in a practical way. (Experiencing, Enjoying, and Expressing Christ (2), msg. 12, II.A, H.1-3, I.1-2)

June 2025 Semiannual Training

The Semiannual Training will be held next week, June 30 to July 5, at the Ministry Conference Center in Anaheim and by webcast in Los Angeles and around the world. The general subject is “Experiencing, Enjoying, and Expressing Christ (3).”

Please pray for the Lord to bless all the preparations for the upcoming training and cover the travel of all the saints. Pray for the Lord to strengthen and protect all the speaking brothers in their tripartite being as they seek Him and labor diligently in cutting straight the word of the truth. Pray for the release and receiving of the Lord's up-to-date burden, that the Spirit will operate through the speaking to build up the Body and prepare the bride for His return.

FTTA Graduations

This Saturday morning, June 28, is the graduation meeting for the 2025 Spring Class of the Full-time Training in Anaheim. There are 86 graduating trainees. The meeting starts at 9:30 am at the Ministry Conference Center and includes a recognition of the Boston Extension (FTTA-XB) trainees; it can also be seen online at www.ftta.org/graduation.php. In the afternoon, the Middle-age Training (FTTA-MA) graduation starts at 2:00 pm at 1853 W Ball Rd.

Please pray for the graduates of the FTTA, FTTA-XB and the FTTA-MA trainings, that they will continue to pursue Christ, gain Him, live Him, and minister Him for the building up of the Body. Pray for the Lord to be magnified and glorified through the corporate presentations and that all who attend in person or watch online would be drawn afresh to love our dear Lord Jesus and run after Him.

LA Truth School and Children's Bible Camp

Thank you, saints, for your prayers. Over the past two days, the atmosphere at our LA Truth School and Children's Bible Camp was one of mutual shepherding and care. We started on Lord's Day evening with an enjoyable time of singing and concluded with a bonfire. Monday afternoon we had another blending opportunity in various activities with teams comprised of attendees from both camps.

Many saints have testified how wonderful it is for families with children of all ages to be together, to eat together, and to lodge together. Please pray:

  • For the Lord to bless all of the children, young people, and families as they return home to Los Angeles.
  • That our children would remember their Creator all the days of their lives and know that they were “awesomely and wonderfully made” (Psa. 139:14).
  • That our young people would continue to enjoy the church life and be factors of life for the building up of the church.

France – Nanterre

Nanterre is a suburb to the west of Paris. The city of Nanterre includes Paris Nanterre University, one of the largest and most prestigious universities in France. The saints who live in this area currently meet as a district of the church in Paris, but there is a burden and desire to raise up a lampstand in Nanterre.

There is currently a meeting on Monday nights for students and young adults, which alternates between two homes. Around 20 saints attend for dinner and fellowship, including seven newer ones who were contacted during the gospel trips last year. In the beginning, the newer ones would merely listen, but now they are all actively participating by asking and answering questions and sharing their experiences.

Last Monday night a newer one just discovered for himself the high peak of the divine revelation: that God wants to make man the same as He is in life and nature but not in the Godhead. This was a great discovery to him, and everyone in the meeting was so happy that he touched the mark of God's economy!

Please pray:

  • That the Lord will establish a golden, shining lampstand in Nanterre.
  • That He will release a meeting hall in Nanterre at the appointed time.
  • That He will shepherd and perfect all the saints, including the new ones gained from gospel trips, for the organic building up of His Body.

Middle East

Please continue to pray that the situation in the region will be under the ruling of God's throne so that He will work out the counsel of His will. Pray for the white horse of the gospel to run and for many people to seek and find Christ as the reality and as their refuge. Pray for the saints' safety and peace and for them to be strengthened into their inner man to live a life that expresses God and cooperates with Him.

Walking in Love and Light

“God is love.” (1 John 4:8b)

“And walk in love, even as Christ also loved us and gave Himself up for us.” (Eph. 5:2a)

“God is light and in Him is no darkness at all.” (1 John 1:5b)

“For you were once darkness but are now light in the Lord; walk as children of light.” (Eph. 5:8)

As children of God, we should walk in love and light. To walk in love is to walk in intimacy with God. In our daily walk we should always care for our Father's feeling, for we live intimately in His tender love. The goal of the book of Ephesians is to bring us into love as the inner substance of God that we may enjoy His presence in the sweetness of the divine love and thereby love others as Christ did. As those who have been regenerated to become God's species, we, the children of God, should be love because God is love. Since we become God in life and in nature, we also should become love.

As God is light, so we, the children of God, are children of light. We are not only children of light—we are light itself. We are light because we are one with God in the Lord. (Experiencing, Enjoying, and Expressing Christ (2), msg. 11, IV, B.1, b, 2, 3, C.1-2)

Persevering in Prayer for the Things Which Are Above

“Set your mind on the things which are above, not on the things which are on the earth.” (Col. 3:2)

When we set our mind on things above by praying, we will not pray for trivial matters. Instead, our prayer will be occupied with Christ's heavenly intercession, ministry, and administration. Because Christ is interceding for the churches around the world, we also pray for the churches. Our responsibility is to seek first the kingdom of God and God's righteousness. Since the Father knows our need, He will take care of us and meet our need.

When we set our mind on the things above during our times of prayer, we become a reflection of Christ's ministry in the heavens. Through our prayer Christ, the Head, is given a way to carry out His administration through His Body…Only when we pray do we become an ambassador of the heavenly kingdom on earth in a practical way. (Life-study of Colossians, msg. 65, p. 581)

United States

“And do not be fashioned according to this age, but be transformed by the renewing of the mind that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and well pleasing and perfect.” (Rom. 12:2)

Pray for the Lord's mercy on the people of this country, that they would be open to the gospel and the truths concerning God's economy so that more could be rescued from the present evil age and participate in God's building of the church as their practical salvation before the Lord's return.

Pray that the Lord would preserve the United States for the preparation of His bride and that the saints would bear their responsibility to live Christ, to have Christ as the reality, the real contents of the church life, so that the Body life may reach the reality of Romans 12 as the spontaneous preparation of Christ's bride for His coming back.

LA Truth School and Children's Bible Camp

Our LA Truth School and Children's Bible Camp will be held from Lord's Day evening, June 22 through Tuesday afternoon, June 24. Please continue to pray:

  • For the health of every child, young person, parent and serving one to be full of strength and vigor to enjoy this time away together.
  • For the family units to have a sanctified time alongside the other families in in the church in LA.
  • For the endurance of the saints finalizing the details in each service to make our time at Oak Glen as enjoyable as possible.
  • For the softness and openness of our young people's hearts to receive a clearer vision of the church.
  • To bind any last-minute schedule conflicts so that everyone signed up will be able to attend.

FTTL

Last weekend, 12 trainees graduated from the Full-time Training in London. Pray that the Lord would lead and release a good number of young saints from all over Europe to make a definite decision to consecrate themselves to be trained in 2025.

Please pray for the next step of the graduating trainees and for all the young saints considering the training this fall. May the Lord continue to use the FTTL to perfect many young saints in truth, life, gospel, service, and character to gain vessels useful to Him for His testimony and move in Europe!

Hungary

Recently the church in Budapest, the sole local church in Hungary, has learned that many people in that country read and appreciate books by Watchman Nee. They have contacted some of these readers. Beseech the Lord for connection of more readers with the current ministry and to bring the readers into the practical church life.

Middle East

Thank the Lord that thus far all the saints in Israel have been preserved from harm during the fighting with Iran that broke out last week. Pray for the saints' peace and safety and for them to be strengthened into their inner man, so that they live a life that expresses God and cooperates with His move.

Pray that the situation in the region will be under the ruling of God's throne so that He will work out the counsel of His will. Pray for the white horse of the gospel to run and for many people to seek and find Christ as the reality and as their fortress.

Living in the Divine History by Calling on the Name of the Lord

“Therefore also God highly exalted Him and bestowed on Him the name which is above every name, that in the name of Jesus every knee should bow…and every tongue should openly confess that Jesus Christ is Lord to the glory of God the Father.” (Phil. 2:9-11)

“For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek, for the same Lord is Lord of all and rich to all who call upon Him; for ‘whoever calls upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.'” (Rom. 10:12-13)

Our divine history in the midst of human history is a history of calling on the name of the Lord to enjoy the riches of Christ for the building up of the Body of Christ as the fullness of Christ. By calling on the name of the Lord, we keep ourselves in God's golden, divine history—a history that begins with Enosh, continues through the Old and New Testaments, and concludes with the last prayer in the Bible.

We carry out the divine history within the human history by speaking “boldly in the name of Jesus” (Acts 9:27). This name is the expression of the sum total of what the Lord is in His person and work. (One Accord and Crucial Aspects of the Book of Acts, msg. 7, II.A.1-2, C)

O Lord Jesus! Let us pray to be a group of people who live in the divine history by calling on the name of the Lord and speaking in the name of the Lord, the name of Jesus.

Taking Christ as Our Unique Source in the One New Man

“For we are His masterpiece, created in Christ Jesus for good works…” (Eph. 2:10)

“Abolishing in His flesh the law of the commandments in ordinances, that He might create the two in Himself into one new man, so making peace” (Eph. 2:15)

We, the church, the masterpiece of God's work, are an absolutely new item in the universe, a new invention of God. We were created by God in Christ through regeneration to be His new creation. (Eph. 2:10, footnote 2)

Ordinances are the forms or ways of living and worship, which create enmity and division. On the cross Christ abolished all the regulations regarding living and worship, regulations that have divided the nations. From the time of Babel, mankind has been divided by ordinances concerning the ways of living and worship; in God's economy in the church life, we must overcome Babel. Christ should be our only source; we should not allow anything of our background, culture, or nationality to be our source. If we are willing to let go of our cultural pride, it will be possible for the Lord to have the proper church life. (Experiencing, Enjoying, and Expressing Christ (2), msg. 10, III.B, 1-2a, c)

The phrase in Himself is very significant. It indicates that Christ was not only the Creator of the one new man, the church, but also the sphere in which and the essence with which the one new man was created. He is the very element of the new man. After we were terminated, in Him we received the new essence. Christ Himself became this new element to us. (Life-study of Ephesians, p. 202)

LA Truth School and Children's Bible Camp

Our 2025 Truth School and Children's Bible Camp for the church in Los Angeles will take place Lord's Day evening, June 22 through Tuesday afternoon, June 24. As we prepare for this time of retreat and blending at Oak Glen, please pray:

  • For the hearts of our young people to be soft, open, and ready to receive the Lord's speaking regarding “The Church.”
  • For the saints laboring in all areas of service to enjoy the living Christ in their prayer and coordination.
  • For many more young people and families to register.

Registration is still open since we have 20 spots available, but must close this Lord's Day, June 15. We are burdened for as many of our young people and families with young children as possible to have a sanctified time to enjoy the Lord together in a focused way.

Bibles for America

In October 2024, BfA began offering free physical copies of The Knowledge of Life to US residents. Since then, over 10,500 books have been sent out to recipients in 49 states and 3 US territories.

Please pray that each of these recipients would read the book in full to receive fresh light from the Lord, advance in knowing and living according to the inward sense of life, and be brought on to have richer experiences of Christ. Pray that many more orders would be placed and more people would gain spiritual benefit from The Knowledge of Life.

Maritimes Blending Conference

The Maritimes refers to the Canadian provinces located east of the US state of Maine. These provinces are New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, and Prince Edward Island. There will be a Maritimes Blending Conference in Moncton, New Brunswick on June 14 and 15. The subject will be “The Preparation of the Bride.” Nearly 140 saints have registered, including many from across Canada.

Please pray for the registered saints to be released outwardly and inwardly to attend this gathering and receive the Lord's up-to-date speaking. Pray for this conference to contribute to the preparation of the Bride to hasten the Lord's return. May this be a wonderful time of blending, building up, and encouragement among the churches, especially in this Atlantic region of Canada.

France – Shepherding Testimonies

1. Thank You, Lord, for Your mercy! It is an untold privilege to be able to participate here. My time in France was priceless and has eternal value. It was the best way to redeem my time and to be a faithful slave cooperating with the saints to have new ones for meals and home meetings. France needs many more saints to come to coordinate with the local saints to shepherd the new ones.

2. We arrived in Lille, where there are about 26 new ones, and entered directly into a home meeting, and we shepherded a new one that evening. All the new ones are open to the nourishing, first through Basic Elements of the Christian Life and then The Economy of God. Every week they came, some in the afternoon for tea or coffee, some in the evening for a meal. We rented an apartment for 3 months near the three local families. Through the weekly home meetings the new ones learned to exercise their spirit, call on the Lord, and pray-read. This time has reminded us how fresh, living, and house-to-house our church life should be.

Pray for the Lord to raise up the church in Lille and in at least two other cities in Francophone Europe this year. “The harvest is great, but the workers few; therefore, beseech the Lord of the harvest that He would thrust out workers into His harvest” (Luke 10:2). Beseech Him that more saints of varied ages, with or without French-speaking ability, including some from LA, would be thrust out!

For more reports and an invitation letter concerning shepherding trips, go to lme.org/reports.html.

The Great Mystery—the Meaning of Human Life

“The mystery which has been hidden from the ages and from the generations but now has been manifested to His saints.” (Col. 1:26)

“This mystery is great, but I speak with regard to Christ and the church.” (Eph. 5:32)

The mystery of the church is the ultimate mystery in the universe. The mystery of the universe is God, the mystery of God is Christ, and the mystery of Christ is the church.

The great mystery—Christ and the church—is the meaning of the universe and of human life. God's intention in His creation of all things, including man, was that man would be mingled with God to produce the church. The desire of God's heart is to have the mystery of Christ—the Body of Christ as the increase and expression of Christ. The mystery of Christ and the mystery of the church should be our daily life; without this mystery, our life would be merely the life of a human being, not the life of a Christian. (Experiencing, Enjoying, and Expressing Christ (2), msg. 9, IV, A.1, B, 1-2, 5)

You may attain to some level of satisfaction through a certain amount of spiritual seeking and exercise; but after you achieve this satisfaction, you will still feel that you are short of something. You will never be fully satisfied until the Lord brings you to this ultimate point and you realize that you are a member of the Body of Christ…When you reach this point, you will realize the genuine church life. Then you will be satisfied in an ultimate way. (CWWL, 1961–1962, vol. 4, “The Mystery of God and the Mystery of Christ,” pp. 181-182)

Let us pray for the mystery of Christ and the mystery of the church to become our daily life in a practical way for the mutual satisfaction of God and man.

Lord Jesus, We Love You!

Whatever we love, our whole heart, even our entire being, is set on and occupied and possessed by. “To love God means to set our entire being—spirit, soul, and body, with the heart, soul, mind, and strength (Mark 12:30)—absolutely on Him, that is, to let our entire being be occupied by Him and lost in Him” (footnote 3 on 1 Cor. 2:9).

To love the Lord Jesus is to appreciate Him, to direct our being to Him, to open to Him, to enjoy Him, to give Him the first place, to be one with Him, to live Him, and to become Him. (2025 Memorial Day Conference, msg. 1, I.D, 1-2)

Church in Los Angeles Joint Meeting

The whole church in Los Angeles—all halls, districts, and languages—will meet together at 10:00 am this Lord's Day, June 8 at the LA Convention Center. There will be translation via FM radio into Chinese, Korean, and Spanish. Saints are encouraged to arrive early and be filled in spirit and ready to flow out!

Please pray for a healthy attendance and blending, and for the timely speaking of the Lord to shepherd all the saints in the church to be brought on to maturity for the sake of His testimony in Los Angeles and for the building up of the reality of the Body of Christ, the preparation of the bride of Christ, and the manifestation of the kingdom of Christ.

France – Migration

The Lord continues to bless His present move in France and Francophone Europe. In order for the Lord to gain what He is after, there is a great need for migration. There is a need for full-timers, families, and even older saints to be thrust out to strengthen the key cities. Opportunities exist for different categories of people—for example, those with remote jobs, those who would like to study, and those who are retired with pensions—to migrate and participate in the Lord's move.

Please pray that the Lord would call many students, families, and mature saints to migrate to France within the next several years and live the church life in one of the key cities. Also pray that the Lord would continue to release long-stay visas for those who who need it.

Germany – Pentecost Conference

This year's Pfingstkonferenz (Pentecost Conference) for the German-speaking churches will take place June 7 to 9. (Pentecost Monday, June 9, is a holiday in Germany, Switzerland, Austria, and some other nations.) Please pray:

  • For the Lord to advance in these countries through His speaking.
  • For all saints to be open to receive the Lord's living word during and after the conference.
  • For all attendees to actively minister Christ to one another.
  • For the cherishing and nourishing of first-time conference attendees.

Germany – Translation Work

To meet an urgent need, there will be a time of fellowship about the German translation work and ministry service during this weekend's Pentecost Conference. This time is open to all German-speaking brothers and sisters who have a burden and would like to participate in written or spoken translation, editing, proofreading, and technical tasks.

Please ask the Lord to call all who are needed to participate in this time.

Russia and Ukraine

Pray for the Lord to protect the tripartite being of all the saints and bring an end to the present conflict so that His move in Russia, Ukraine, and Europe would advance. Also pray that He would continue to bless the saints and the churches in the Russian-speaking world, and that there would be a good situation for the spreading of the truth and the building up of the churches.

The Way to Receive, Experience, and Enjoy the All-Inclusive Christ

“…That the blessing of Abraham might come to the Gentiles in Christ Jesus, that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.” (Gal. 3:14)

“But when it pleased God, who set me apart from my mother's womb and called me through His grace, to reveal His Son in me that I might announce Him as the gospel among the Gentiles…” (Gal. 1:15-16)

Galatians reveals the way to receive, experience, and enjoy the all-inclusive Christ as the all-inclusive life-giving Spirit—the aggregate of the all-embracing blessing of the full gospel of God. The way to receive, experience, and enjoy the all-inclusive Christ as the all-inclusive life-giving Spirit is by God's revealing of Christ in us; we live the Christian life according to the Christ whom we have seen. Nothing is more pleasing to God than the unveiling, the revelation, of the living person of the Son of God in us. The more inward, subjective revelation we receive of the Son of God, the more He will live in us; the more He lives in us, the more He will become to us the reality of the all-inclusive land as the blessing of Abraham, the blessing of the all-inclusive life-giving Spirit.

If we drop our concepts, turn our heart to the Lord, pay attention to the spirit, and spend time in the Word in a spirit and atmosphere of prayer, Christ will be revealed in us, live in us, and be formed in us. (Experiencing, Enjoying, and Expressing Christ (2), msg. 8, III.A, 1-3)

May we all exercise to drop our concepts, turn our heart to the Lord, pay attention to our spirit, and pray-read the Word!

The Preparation of the Bride

“That He might sanctify her, cleansing her by the washing of the water in the word.” (Eph. 5:26)

“Let us rejoice and exult, and let us give the glory to Him, for the marriage of the Lamb has come, and His wife has made herself ready.” (Rev. 19:7)

The Bible is a romance, in the most pure and the most holy sense, of a universal couple—God in Christ as the Bridegroom and God's redeemed people as the bride—the goal of the Lord's recovery.

The Lord's primary work in the recovery is His genuine work to prepare us to be His glorious bride; apart from the continual, dispositional sanctification spoken of in Ephesians 5:26, there is no way for the bride to be prepared and, hence, no way for Revelation 19:7-9 to be fulfilled.

As used in the New Testament, the word mature refers to the believers' being full-grown and perfected in the life of Christ, which they received at the time of regeneration.

The Lord's recovery is for the preparation of the bride of Christ; ultimately, we will be conformed to be the wonderful Shulammite, who, as the duplication of Solomon, is the greatest and ultimate figure of the New Jerusalem as the counterpart, the bride, of Christ. (Key Statements, 2025 Memorial Day Conference)

Please pray for the digestion of the recent conference messages by all the saints, for them to refresh their love for the Lord Jesus, and for their cooperation with the Spirit to prepare the bride for the Lord's coming.

Church in Los Angeles Joint Meeting

The whole church in Los Angeles—all halls, districts, and languages—will meet together at 10:00 am on Lord's Day, June 8 at the LA Convention Center.

UCLA Celebration Meeting

College students with all the saints in Hall 5 will come together this Friday, May 30 to celebrate all that the Lord has done in and through them this past academic year. Pray for a good, solid ending to the school year for all the college students, especially our graduating seniors, through their sharing of their testimony of Christ. Also pray for all the saints to be encouraged and for the Lord to be glorified through all the speaking.

FTTA

The deadline for Fall Term applications is this Saturday, May 31. We are continuing to pray and trust in the Lord for His blessing on many young saints through the Full-time Training in Anaheim. In light of this week's deadline, please pray that the Lord would touch and lead many more college graduates and young working saints to consecrate themselves and apply to FTTA.

France

The Lord continues to bless His move among us in France and Francophone Europe. At the end of April, over 370 saints gathered in person for the annual French-speaking blending conference in Paris, representing a significant increase over previous years. At least 52 new ones participated for the first time; many of them had been contacted during the gospel trips. The meetings were rich and enjoyable, and many new ones came to the microphone to share. Praise the Lord for the fruitful vine in French-speaking Europe!

In early May, saints from Paris and Brussels went to blend with the young working saints in Lille, where there is not yet a lampstand. The time began Thursday evening and concluded Saturday afternoon. Three messages were shared, all focusing on “our human spirit.” The saints enjoyed picnics together and a city tour led by a couple who had been baptized in Lille. On Friday night, 8 different small groups were formed and the saints enjoyed the Lord in the homes of local saints. There are plans for another blending time this fall.

Please pray:

  • That the Lord would keep the new contacts in close fellowship with the local saints for the raising up of His testimony and the reality of the Body of Christ.
  • For the Lord to raise up three new lampstands in France this year. Lord, what would You do concerning your testimony in Lille?

Sri Lanka

Pray that the churches in Sri Lanka would be registered as government-recognized organization, and for the purchase of the meeting hall in Colombo, so that the preaching of the gospel will not be hindered.

The One Who Is Formed in the Believers

“…It pleased God, who set me apart from my mother's womb and called me through His grace, to reveal His Son in me…” (Gal. 1:15-16)

“I am crucified with Christ; and it is no longer I who live, but it is Christ who lives in me…” (Gal. 2:20)
“My children, with whom I travail again in birth until Christ is formed in you.” (Gal. 4:19)

The book of Galatians reveals that God's intention is for Christ to be wrought into His chosen people that they may become sons of God. In order to be God's sons, we need to be permeated and saturated with Christ. Christ must occupy our entire being. The Galatians, however, were distracted from Christ to the law…The believers should come back to Christ, who is both the seed who fulfills God's promise to Abraham and the good land, the all-inclusive Spirit, to be our enjoyment. As believers in Christ, we need the full enjoyment of this blessing, the full enjoyment of the life-giving Spirit. We need to be saturated, possessed, and fully taken over by this Spirit.

Christ has been born in us; that is, He has been revealed in us. He is now living in us, and He will be formed in us unto maturity…May the Lord bring us into the experience and enjoyment of Christ who has been born in us, is now living in us, and will be formed in us unto maturity in order that we may be sons of full age, heirs of God's promised blessing, and may mature in the divine sonship. (The Conclusion of the New Testament, pp. 3314-3315)

International Memorial Day Blending Conference

“In the blending of the churches we receive nourishment, we receive revelation, and we receive a vision of God's eternal purpose concerning Christ and the church. Such a blending is not only for our own mutual spiritual benefit but is also for the mutual building up of the Body of Christ.” (1993 Blending Conference Messages concerning the Lord's Recovery and Our Present Need, ch. 2)

The 2025 International Memorial Day Blending Conference will take place in Phoenix this weekend. The general subject is “The Preparation of the Bride.” All the saints are warmly invited to participate in person or by webcast. Please pray for the release of the Lord's up-to-date speaking and for the operation of the intensified Spirit in all the saints to prepare the bride for the Lord's coming. May all the churches and all the saints prepare for this upcoming time of ministry and sanctify these days for the hearing of faith among us. Pray for the transmission of grace to all the saints traveling from all over the world to attend and to the many saints who have volunteered to serve in some capacity at the conference. May this conference turn out to be a real memorial among us to the shame of God's enemy and to the glory of God's grace!

Brussels, Belgium

Brussels is the administrative center of the European Union and the capital of Belgium. It has a population of over 1 million. There is a local church there that started in 2000 and now has about 45 saints meeting, but the burden is for the strengthening of the Lord's testimony in this crucial city. Please pray for saints to migrate under the Head and in the Body to strengthen the Lord's testimony in Brussels!

Germany

Please pray for the follow-up of all the new ones contacted through last month's FTTT gospel trips, especially in Hamburg and Leipzig. Pray for the labor and coordination of the saints that these ones may be borne as remaining fruit.

Cairo, Egypt

According to the Egyptian Ministry of Culture, the 2025 Cairo International Book Fair, held earlier this year from January 24 to February 5, witnessed an exceptional public turnout of over 5.5 million visitors, a new record compared to previous years. The final day alone attracted nearly half a million visitors. This fair continues to be considered the largest literary event in the world. Al Jadwal Al Haii (AJAH), the Arabic literature center in Cairo, was given a corner booth, covering 18 square meters, featuring 95 titles in Arabic.

Isaiah 45:15 (“Surely You are a God who hides Himself”) was truly the experience of the serving ones. In contrast to our human concept, the Lord sent the sons of peace to the booth mainly during quiet and low-traffic times for some quality, divine appointments. On the contrary, when there were large crowds, there were not many visitors to the booth. There was real appreciation for the contents of the ministry books. There was also much curiosity and interest in the Bible, which confirms the crucial need for an Arabic NT Recovery Version. Once this ongoing translation project is finished, undoubtedly the Lord will use it to have a significant turn in this Arabic-speaking nation.

Please pray:

  • For completion of the Arabic NT Recovery Version project in a timely manner.
  • For the ministry to operate in each person who purchased a book—that the book would be read and would get into each person so that they would subjectively experience Christ.
  • For the ongoing translation and production of the Life-study of the Bible as well as the standalone titles.
  • For the serving ones in the Arabic publication work.
  • For the Lord's testimony in Cairo and the Middle East region.
  • For the follow-up with the new ones so that they would become remaining fruit.
  • For the Lord to strengthen the church in Cairo so that the new ones would be shepherded according to God and become normal and healthy members in the Body of Christ.
