Having Our Heart Established Blameless in Holiness
“Keep your heart with all vigilance, for from it are the issues of life.” (Prov. 4:23)
“So that He may establish your hearts blameless in holiness before our God and Father at the coming of our Lord Jesus with all His saints.” (1 Thes. 3:13)
We should guard our heart above all because from it are the issues of life…The heart is related to the sources of life, the springs of life, and the issues of life.
To be a living believer involves both our spirit and our heart. If our heart is dormant or asleep, exercising our spirit to call on the name of the Lord will not be effective…This is the reason we need to deal thoroughly with our heart. This dealing must include our mind, emotion, and will. Our mind must be the mind of Christ, our emotion must be saturated with the love of Christ, and our will must be one with His will. If this is the condition of our heart, our heart will be active and functioning. Then if we call on the Lord when our heart is active, this calling will be very effective.
We need to pray, “Lord, have mercy on me. I want to have my mind renewed. I want to have my emotion filled with Your love. I want to have a will that is truly one with Your will.” If we have such a heart, then the heart as our acting agent will be established blameless in holiness, blameless in the state of being made holy. SCYP Fall Conferences
The upcoming Southern California High School Conferences will be held October 24 to 26 with sisters in Cerritos and brothers in Irvine. The topic is “The Humanity of Jesus.” Please pray:
- For the Lord to prepare the hearts of the high schoolers so that they will be soft and open toward the Lord, able to receive His speaking and shining.
- For each attendee to be freed from all distractions so that they would thoroughly enjoy the conference.
- For the continued blending and companionship among the young people.
- For each attendee to see and partake of the humanity of Jesus to be the testimony of Jesus in the midst of a crooked generation.
Also pray for the junior highers’ continued digestion of all that they heard from their conferences earlier this month, that they would enter into what they heard in their daily life and in the church life.
LA Korean Festival Follow-up
Thank you for your prayers for our Bible distribution during last week’s LA Korean Festival. Saints from Hall 1, Hall 2, and some nearby localities distributed Recovery Versions plus invitations to a gospel seminar on Saturday. In total, we distributed approximately 400 NTs in Korean, English, and Spanish.
Ten guests attended the seminar, three of whom came directly from the Bible distribution. Everyone enjoyed the message about the Man-Savior described in Luke 10 as the Good Samaritan. Please pray:
- That those who received NTs would read and enjoy them.
- That the Lord would open a way for us to reach the younger generation in LA’s Koreatown with the gospel of the kingdom.
- That the Lord would gain more remaining fruit this year through the more gospel seminars as well as personal shepherding.
Korean-speaking Blending Conference of the Americas
This weekend, October 25 to 26, the 2025 Korean-speaking Blending Conference of the Americas will be held in-person for the saints in Southern California and online via Zoom for saints in all other regions. Meetings are Saturday 4:00 to 7:30 pm and Lord’s Day 9:00 am to 12:30 pm. The fellowship will be on the subject of the recent ITERO on “Crucial Aspects of Matthew 5 through 7.” Conference information is at tinyurl.com/2025KoreanConf.
Pray that many Korean-speaking saints across the Americas will be able to attend this conference and that the Lord will use this conference for the blending of the Body of Christ in His up-to-date speaking.
Pasadena Meeting Hall
The church in Pasadena is in the process of purchasing a property for their meeting place; they expect to close escrow in mid-November. The city has already granted a conditional use permit for the property to be used as a meeting hall, and a public hearing with neighbors has been scheduled for November 5; such a hearing is standard practice for the city to grant full permission and access to the property.
The total funds needed for purchase and renovations is $2.2 million. The remaining amount still needed to close escrow by next month is $742,705. As the Lord leads, saints in LA may participate in giving through the Church in Los Angeles designated for “Pasadena Meeting Hall.” May the Lord bless all the churches and the saints through the oneness and one accord in His Body.
European Brothers Training and Blending Conference
From October 21 to 24, in Baarlo, Netherlands, the leading brothers in Europe will review the messages given at the September 2025 ITERO. This will be followed by an international blending conference from October 24 to 26.
Please pray that the Lord will take a significant step to build up His Body and prepare His bride through His speaking in these two important gatherings.
Germany – October Gospel Trips
The two weeks of gospel trips concluded on October 19. Please pray for all the contacts made during this time, that many would be shepherded into the church life and that the Lord would gain many young people from the university campuses and spread His testimony in Germany, Switzerland and Austria.
2026 Winter Olympics in Italy
The 2026 Winter Olympic Games will be held in Milan and Cortina d’Ampezzo, Italy. Gospel trips during the time of the Torch Relay and the Olympic Games will be conducted from December 3 through February 23. All gospel trip cycles have been closed, but information about potential follow-up shepherding trips will be announced once details have been arranged. Please pray:
- That the Lord will use the next few months to prepare the hearts of many seeking people to receive Christ in His word and be added to the Lord’s testimony in Italy and other parts of Europe.
- That the Lord will grace the serving saints to prepare the most effective ministry publications for distribution to the seeking ones.
- That the Lord will blend the saints together for the spreading of the lampstands in Italy and will advance His move in His recovery.
