I don't remember much of the prayer, but I remember at the end that I did say to God, "God, I love You." After that I felt wonderful knowing that God was in me now. Maybe at the time I didn't know what that meant, but now I actually know God. I grew up not knowing God, but now in my college years, I know God.

I myself grew up knowing the Bible. I thought I knew a lot but here I am seeing all these believers...I was wowed by all of the light they had in their study and their pursuit of the Lord and that really showed in their living. So this is why I'm here because I feel like this is the place that the Lord is really doing something.

Divinely human are two words that I would use to describe the church. On the one hand we have the life of God within us that expresses something so divine, but on the other hand we are human beings that are living on the earth and my interaction with all the brothers and sisters is just so human...

There's a real focus on the reality of Christ. We're not going to have many gimmicks here in the church, we don't have an agenda, we only have one occupation, and that is: Enjoy the Lord Jesus Christ. So that's one of the real blessings of the church in Los Angeles that we get together and have a single focus, a single goal – and that is Christ.

I'm married and have two children. One is 3 years old and one is 8 months old. I'm very busy raising them, taking care of them, but I've found that I can still practice this church life simply in my home, opening my home. We have dinner every night and invite some others, whether members of the church or neighbors or friends that we have, and share with them this Christ that we love and enjoy.
