About

“Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.” (Phil. 1:2)

We are believers in the Lord Jesus Christ who have been cleansed by His precious blood, born of the Father’s divine life, and filled with the Holy Spirit ([tooltip text=”1 John 1:7
But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus His Son cleanses us from every sin.”]1 John 1:7[/tooltip]; [tooltip text=”John 3:3
Jesus answered and said to him, Truly, truly, I say to you, Unless one is born anew, he cannot see the kingdom of God.”]John 3:3[/tooltip]; [tooltip text=”1 Corinthians 12:13
For also in one Spirit we were all baptized into one Body, whether Jews or Greeks, whether slaves or free, and were all given to drink one Spirit.”]1 Cor. 12:13[/tooltip]). We have been gathering as the local church in Los Angeles since 1962. We receive as our brothers and sisters all who believe in Jesus Christ, and we warmly welcome guests and visitors interested in our faith.

We endeavor to practice a genuine New Testament church life with the goal of building up the Body of Christ ([tooltip text=”Ephesians 4
15 But holding to truth in love, we may grow up into Him in all things, who is the Head, Christ,
16 Out from whom all the Body, being joined together and being knit together through every joint of the rich supply and through the operation in the measure of each one part, causes the growth of the Body unto the building up of itself in love.”]Eph. 4:15-16[/tooltip]). Throughout the week, we primarily meet in homes across the greater Los Angeles area for mutual fellowship, teaching and worship ([tooltip text=”Acts 2
46 And day by day, continuing steadfastly with one accord in the temple and breaking bread from house to house, they partook of their food with exultation and simplicity of heart,
47 Praising God and having grace with all the people. And the Lord added together day by day those who were being saved.”]Acts 2:46-47[/tooltip]; [tooltip text=”Hebrews 10
24 And let us consider one another so as to incite one another to love and good works,
25 Not abandoning our own assembling together, as the custom with some is, but exhorting one another; and so much the more as you see the day drawing near.”]Heb. 10:24-25[/tooltip]). We also gather each Lord’s day (Sunday) to joyfully participate in the Lord’s supper and to minister the Word of God. Gatherings take place in English, Spanish, Korean, Chinese, Armenian, and other languages.
