Psalm 119: God’s Law as His Living Word

Posted on Apr 3, 2012 | 0 comments

“With all my heart I have sought You; Do not let me wander from Your commandments.” (Psalm 199:10)
“Deal bountifully with Your servant that I may live And keep Your word.Open my eyes that I may behold Wondrous things out of Your law.” (Psalm 199:17-18)

Psalm 119 is full of the psalmist’s feeling toward God and His law (vv. 10-11). The psalmist was a loving seeker of God, considering the law to be God’s living word. The reality of God’s law is Christ who is the Word, the embodiment of God (Col. 2:9). As we come to the Bible as the Word of God, we can touch and express Christ!
