I was just really encouraged that we are not running this Christian race by ourselves. In verse 6, like our brother highlighted, it says "THEY make it a spring." This shows that in God's house, we are not alone, but we are with "they"! In God's house, we not only enjoy God and are strengthened by God, but we also enjoy all the other believer's portions and experiences of Christ and we are even strengthened by our fellow believers.

Sometimes we may go through difficult times, but God's promise in verse 7 is that "THEY go from strength to strength." God is strengthening us, but as we run with one another, we also strengthen one another as well. Thank You, Lord, that we can be in Your lovely house!

Wow! What an awesome revelation in Psalm 84! 1) The loveliness of God's house 2) The psalmist longing for God's house 3) The highways for God's house 4) The blessings of dwelling in God's house.I like in verse 2, the Psalmist longs and even faints to be in God's house. Perhaps because he saw, like the brother shared, the four aspects. I pray that God will show me more how wonderful His house is!

It's so meaningful that Christ's incarnation is described as "tabernacling" among us in John 1:14. This shows us that not only is Christ the fulfillment of the Old Testament tabernacle, but that God wants us to ENTER INTO Him and enjoy Him just as the Old Testament priests did regarding the tabernacle. The more we enjoy Christ in this way, the more strongly we will declare, "How lovely are Your tabernacles, O Jehovah of hosts!"

I pray that the Lord would give me and all of us the same longing and heart for God’s house that the psalmist had. How lovely are Your tabernacles, O Jehovah of hosts (Psa. 84:1)!

It is refreshing to see a Holy Spirit filled believer hold a Bible and preach the Word. I love it when you say " we can go so much deeper into this .... " it means you have meditated on His word. God bless you and your family !!

Psalm 73:24b, "And afterward You will receive me in glory." This is a strong turn from outward prosperity and strong tie to God's New Testament economy to glorify many sons. Peter was martyred. Paul was in prison, but lived and magnified Christ there. John was exiled but saw the visions from golden lampstands to New Jerusalem. Lord, keep our inner eyes turned away from outward circumstances and turned to You!

Wow, how awesome that Psalm 45, written around 1,000 years before Christ, still portrays the same wedding feast of Christ and His Bride (the believers) as presented in Revelation 19! The Bible truly is the Word of God! Thank you, brother, for opening up this psalm to us. So many riches found in just one psalm!

Lord, keep our hearts overflowing with a good matter--which is just God Himself! Our tongues would be the pen of a ready writer, ready to write our affectionate love for You! (Psa 45:1)

It's amazing to see how this Psalm covers so much territory, beginning with Christ's incarnation and continuing into the establishing of the church and spreading of the gospel. Lord, keep us enjoying you and day by day being loaded with good!

What a wonder that the descendants of Korah, of a top rebel, can through God’s mercy be brought back to be among God’s people and write this marvelous song of love! This is truly a picture of us all. This reminded me of Romans 5:10 which says, “For if we, being enemies, were reconciled to God through the death of His Son, much more we will be saved in His life, having been reconciled”. Thank You Lord Jesus! Let us all enjoy and love the Lord with our first love in order to be prepared with these two garments and make ourselves ready for the marriage of the Lamb (Rev 19:7-9)!
